Tarangire National Park and the Tarangire River are flooded with water and wildlife. Even in the dry season the river still flows making it a magnet for thirsty wildlife including elephant, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland.

Lake Manyara National Park is situated on the towering Rift Valley escarpment about a two and a half hour drive from Arusha. Established specifically to protect the elephant herds that Manyara is known for the park is also home to a huge variety of wildlife across diverse terrain making it a unique wilderness experience.

The crater is famous for its big five animals: lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo. It is teeming with wildlife of all kinds however, including zebra, gazelle, wildebeest, impala, hippo and many different bird species.

Saadani National Park is truly unique because it’s right on the Indian Ocean. The beautiful white sand beaches are stunning but you’re more likely to see lions or elephants on the beach than sunbathers.

Mikumi covers an area of 3,230 square kilometres and is well known for its population of wildlife. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, elands, kudu, wildebeest, and antelope.The park is also well known for its incredible variety of birds, with over 400 species making it their home.
